ANDREW RASMUSSEN is a NYC based director, creative producer and Executive Producer of Cardinal Theatricals. He is passionate for visceral, outside-the-box storytelling — often involving puppets, cats, lasers, and/or electric guitars.
Original productions include Andrew Lippa's THE WILD PARTY, RENT, WHEN A MAN LOVES A DIVA and an immersive ROCKY HORROR SHOW LIVE! at the 8,000-square foot warehouse LAB Theatre in Minneapolis. His work has taken him from Broadway around the globe including Japan, China and Europe from original musicals to The Shangdong Acrobat Circus in China.
Andrew has collaborated and creative directed unique concerts, shows and experiences for Grammy Award-Winning JAMECIA BENNETT and THE SOUNDS OF BLACKNESS, TANK AND THE BANGAS, NORWEGIAN Cruise Line, T-Mobile, Heineken, and was commissioned to create a 125+ person musical flashmob for the MN TWINS opening of Target Field.
His original work with MRS. SMITH (Co-writing & Directing) has been seen Off-Broadway (MRS. SMITH’S BROADWAY CAT-TACULAR), Berkeley Rep (TO MARS AND BACK AGAIN!), and American Repertory Theatre’s OBERON and he directed the US premiere of Korean musical, GWANGJU.
A Drama alum of NYU/Tisch School of the Arts, Andrew performed internationally from Radio City Music Hall to Tokyo. You may have seen his feet tap dancing on Broadway or his dead body on all three Law & Order series (for which his family is least proud!). His original puppet film CHRISTMAS 1976 has been recognized for several independent short awards including Los Angeles Film Awards.
His romcom directorial debut, A CONFLICT OF LOVE INTEREST arrives 2024. He likes Diet Coke, rainy days, cats and dogs. He’s tired of writing in third person. It’s kind of weird.

With Five By Design, she toured the continental U.S. and Canada averaging 210 days on the road, performing lush harmonies and swingin’ rhythms with pop symphony orchestras and studio big bands, in conjunction with teaching vocal clinics and master classes in high schools and universities.
As Associate Producer with Cardinal Theatricals, Sheridan co-produces large-scale musicals such as RENT and The Rocky Horror Show starring Don Shelby. In addition to serving as producer and band leader of her own shows, Sheridan continues to perform in musicals and sing with members of Five By Design as well as with variety dance bands.
